Mimir Classroom offers instructors the ability to submit a project for a student via the submit modal on a project page or from the individual student submission page. Below is a screen shot of the submission process from the project page.
Note that the instructor is required to select the student and has the option to add a late penalty. To submit on behalf of a student, navigate to the submission tab of the project and click "Submit for a student" on the right hand side.
That will open up the pop-up window below:
The submit modal is different from the student submission page. From the student submission page, an instructor does not need to select the student but can still add a late penalty.
The student submission page will indicate if the last submission was done on behalf of the student by the instructor.
